Apricity Insurance was created by Christine Webb and Austin Bittner with a unique vision - providing individualized insurance that's affordable and meets each of our clients unique needs! As an independent insurance agency, Apricity Insurance is able to compare rates and coverage with a number of carriers and get you set up with a policy that best matches what you're looking for!

We believe that insurance should be competitive! You should have a choice without the hassle of going through the application process with dozens of insurance agencies just to get a competitive rate. We take the hard work out by being able to write for MANY different carriers and being able to price you out with the carrier that best matches your price AND product needs!

Where did you come up with the name Apricity?

Apricity means "the warmth of the sun on a cold winter day." We believe that word is fitting in so many ways! We offer a fresh take on insurance and provide a warm and welcoming business! At Apricity Insurance, you won't ever be left out in the cold!

Hey there! 

Thanks so much for considering us to meet your insurance needs! Although I do not currently sell insurance, I do understand the value of protecting your interests, especially real estate interests. As a licensed real estate agent in the state of Iowa, I recognize the importance of having great insurance policies in place to protect your home! 

A little about me:

Before stepping into the entrepreneurial world, I was a department manager for one of the largest employers in Iowa. I successfully led my team to a series of new achievements - receiving regional production awards and rapidly advancing within the company. Yet, seeing a corporation succeed is small apples compared to seeing people achieve their dreams and helping them realize their goals. I stepped away from my position with the company in order to work directly with people. 

Since stepping away from that position, I have been able to work with people both in my real estate career, as well as in my personal life within the community. As an active volunteer within the community, I have helped establish a nonprofit in Des Moines in conjunction with Rotary and Rotaract. I've acted in a number of roles with that nonprofit, starting as President and, more recently, serving as an Executive Board Member. I also serve on the board of the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce, Pleasant Hill Parks and Recreation Commission, and Grand View University Young Alumni Council. 

Within my real estate career, I've quickly become a top real estate agent in the Des Moines Metro. The systems I have in place allow me to serve my clients efficiently and meet each and every one of their needs on an individual level. Nothing is more important when buying or selling a home than working with someone that takes the time to understand your unique goals, wants, and needs. That is something myself, and any of the agents on my team, always strive to meet. Based on our reviews, I'd say we meet that goal consistently! 

My real estate business was founded in 2018 and has quickly grown to allow me to take on this exciting new venture into the world of insurance! Apricity Insurance was officially founded in February of 2021. Christine and I are so excited to help you not only achieve your real estate goals, but also protect them! Apricity Insurance is a brave new business venture and we have big goals! We hope to help you achieve your goals and protect your interests! Thank you for considering us to do both!
